Iridium360° Rockstar is a global communications system and tracking device. It allows to send and receive short messages from anywhere in the world. The device works even without Wifi or GSM networks. With a given frequency, the tracker will receive its location using the GPS satellite network and transmit it to the Iridium 360° server via the Iridium satellite network. After that position data can be viewed on the map using a web browser. The Iridium 360° Rockstar also allows to work with short messages (SMS, social network updates, and short email) to be sent via a conjugate Bluetooth device (such as a smartphone). This ensures full two-way communication even when you are out of the coverage of the mobile network.
